10-Minute Cozy & Creamy Pumpkin Hummus

A quick and easy pumpkin hummus recipe that’s perfect for fall. This creamy dip combines chickpeas, pumpkin, and spices for a healthy and delicious snack.

  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin purée
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ⅓ cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup ice water
  • Extra olive oil (for serving)
  • Pomegranate arils (for serving)
  • Toasted pepitas (for serving)
  • Finely chopped fresh rosemary (for serving)
  • Sliced apples (for serving)
  • Sliced carrots (for serving)
  • Pita chips (for serving)
  • Root veggie chips (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients, draining and rinsing the chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, pumpkin, and garlic; pulse to break down.
  3. Add lemon juice, tahini, maple syrup, salt, cumin, cinnamon, and cayenne; process.
  4. While blending, slowly stream in olive oil and process until smooth.
  5. If too thick, add ice water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with extra olive oil; top with pomegranate, pepitas, and rosemary.
  7. Serve with apple slices, carrots, pita chips, or root veggie chips.

Notes

Experiment with spice levels and toppings to suit your taste. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
