Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Crispy and flavorful Brussels sprouts with savory bacon, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic (optional), minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, removing any brown or yellow leaves.
  3. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Chop the bacon and mix it in with the Brussels sprouts.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Optionally, add minced garlic during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve as a side dish, in salads, or as a snack. Can be customized with cheese, nuts, or different seasonings.
