  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather Your Ingredients.
  2. Make the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  3. Marinate the Flank Steak: Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat Your Skillet: Heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat.
  5. Remove Excess Marinade: Take the flank steak out of the marinade and let the excess drip off.
