Candied Pecans

Delicious homemade candied pecans that are sweet, crunchy, and perfect for snacking or as toppings for salads and desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pecans
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pecans with the melted butter and stir well.
  3. Add brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until all pecans are coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the pecan mixture in a single layer.
  5. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
