Cheesy Garlic Cruffin Bliss combines flaky pastry with a warm, gooey cheesy filling, perfect for brunch or cozy evenings.

  • 2 sheets Refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves Additional garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll sheets and flatten them on a clean surface.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped chives, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough from one long side to the other to form a log and seal the edges.
  6. Cut the log into 12 even slices.
  7. Grease a muffin tin with melted butter and arrange the slices standing up.
  8. Mix remaining melted butter, garlic, chives, and salt, and brush over the tops of the cruffins.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ingredients and don’t skip brushing the tops with butter for that golden finish.
