Cheesy Taco Sticks

Cheesy Taco Sticks are a fun and delicious way to enjoy taco flavors wrapped in warm pizza dough, perfect for snacks or meals.

  • 1 pound Ground Beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 package Refrigerator Pizza Dough
  • 8 sticks Colby-Jack Cheese Sticks
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef/turkey over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the cooked meat, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Unroll the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into strips about 1-2 inches wide.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a cheese stick on one end of the dough strip. Roll tightly, sealing the edges.
  6. Melt butter and mix in garlic salt, then brush over each rolled taco stick.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly on a wire rack and serve warm with dipping sauces.
