A fun and simple dish, these Crunchy Cornflake Chicken Tenders are not only easy to prepare but also deliciously crispy and packed with flavor, making them perfect for any meal.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
  2. Set up your breading station: combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in one bowl, beat the eggs in another, and place crushed cornflakes in the third bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, dip into the eggs, then roll in the cornflakes.
  4. Place coated chicken tenders on the baking sheet with space between them.
  5. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray or drizzle with oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double-coating the tenders or using an air fryer.
