Delicate French Almond Cookies

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 large egg white
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy.
  5. Mix the almond extract into the frothy egg white.
  6. Pour the egg white and almond extract mixture into the dry ingredients and gently combine.
  7. Scoop a small amount of dough and roll into a ball, placing each ball on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
