Deliciously Chewy Coconut Macaroons

These coconut macaroons are deliciously chewy, made with sweetened coconut and condensed milk, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

  • 14 oz sweetened coconut flakes
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg whites

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the coconut flakes, condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt; stir until well combined.
  4. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the coconut mixture.
  6. Shape small mounds of the mixture on the lined baking sheet, spaced about an inch apart.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
