Garlic Butter Chicken Balls with Easy Creamy Pasta

A delightful dish combining rich garlic butter flavors with tender ground chicken, served over creamy pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (for sauce)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste (for sauce)
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine (cooked according to package instructions)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook the chicken balls for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, melt another 2 tablespoons of butter, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring together. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the creamy sauce, tossing until coated. Add the chicken balls and gently mix until well combined. Serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground chicken with finely chopped mushrooms and use plant-based butter and cream.
