Ground Turkey and Peppers

A quick and delicious dish combining lean ground turkey with colorful bell peppers, perfect for weeknight dinners and meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing
  • Rice, lettuce wraps, or taco shells for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 3-5 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey; break it up and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until bell peppers are tender.
  6. Serve over rice, in taco shells, or in lettuce wraps.
