Ground Turkey and Potato Skillet

A hearty and nutritious skillet meal featuring lean ground turkey and diced potatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until soft and fragrant (3-5 minutes).
  3. Add lean ground turkey, breaking it up as it cooks until browned (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in diced potatoes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, coating evenly.
  5. Cover and reduce heat to low, cooking until potatoes are tender (15-20 minutes).
  6. Serve as is or top with a fried egg, fresh herbs, or hot sauce for garnish.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding diced bell peppers or using different spices. Serve with a side salad or bread.
