Homemade Pumpkin Pie

A classic fall dessert that combines creamy pumpkin filling with warm spices, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs until well combined.
  4. Slowly stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the pumpkin filling into the pie crust, leaving some room at the top.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C).
  7. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.
  8. Cool the pie at room temperature before serving.

Notes
