Irresistible Gingerbread Brownies

Deliciously rich gingerbread brownies combining the flavors of ginger and chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 cup Confectioners’ sugar (to dust on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract; whisk until fluffy.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, kosher salt, ground ginger, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in molasses until fully incorporated.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.

Notes
