Kid’s Halloween Breakfast

A fun and spooky breakfast to celebrate Halloween, perfect for kids and families.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch of pancake or waffle mix
  • 1 cup of milk (or water, depending on the mix)
  • 1 egg (if needed for the mix)
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup of whipped cream or yogurt
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup of berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • Chocolate chips
  • Food coloring (green, orange, or purple)
  • Edible googly eyes
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • Maple syrup (or your favorite syrup)

Instructions

  1. Choose between pancakes or waffles and prepare the mix following package instructions.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet for pancakes or preheat a waffle iron for waffles.
  3. Pour batter onto the skillet for pancakes or into the waffle iron for waffles and cook until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked, decorate with whipped cream or yogurt, using bananas, chocolate chips, and berries to create spooky faces.
  5. Drizzle with maple syrup and add any remaining toppings.
  6. Finish with Halloween-themed sprinkles and edible googly eyes for fun.
