Delicious meatballs packed with garlic, beef, spinach, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for family meals or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Flatten a small amount of the meat mixture in your hand, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and encase it with the meat, rolling it into a ball.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs for 6-8 minutes, or bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients. Avoid over-mixing the meatball mixture to prevent toughness.
