1 lb ground beef
1 cup elbow macaroni
4 cups beef broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in diced onions and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle boil. Add the elbow macaroni and stir well.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked al dente. Stir occasionally.
