Peanut Butter & Chocolate Baked Oats

A delightful and nutritious way to start your day, combining peanut butter and chocolate in a wholesome baked oats dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup Oat milk
  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup Agave or honey
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Protein powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Additional peanut butter (for drizzling)
  • 1 square Chocolate square
  • 1/4 cup Extra chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, baking powder, salt, and optional protein powder.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the oat milk, peanut butter, applesauce, agave or honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  6. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and the center is set.
  9. Let cool slightly, then drizzle melted chocolate square and additional peanut butter on top.
  10. Slice into squares and enjoy warm, with optional toppings.

Notes

These baked oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
