Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop spoonfuls of dough onto the sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
