Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, milk, and eggs. Whisk until well blended.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and any additional spices you choose.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
Distribute the batter into the prepped donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove onto a wire rack.
Decorate with glaze or powdered sugar optional.
