Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, eggs, honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Using a knife, swirl through the batter to create a marbled effect. Take care not to disturb the cake’s bottom layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool before drizzling with a light glaze of honey mixed with powdered sugar, if desired.
