1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your doughnut pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, pumpkin spice, salt, and baking powder.
In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
Beat the cream cheese until smooth and add powdered sugar to taste.
Fill each doughnut cavity halfway with batter, add cream cheese filling, then cover with more batter.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool.
Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with a little milk until smooth.
Dip the tops of each doughnut in the glaze and allow excess to drip off.
