Salted Caramel Apple Mini Pies

Delicious bite-sized mini pies filled with baked apples, warm spices, and drizzled with salted caramel, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flour for dusting
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a floured surface and cut circles for muffin tins.
  3. In a bowl, mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  4. Place pie crust circles into a muffin tin and fill with the apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  6. Cover with another pie crust, seal edges, and crimp if desired.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence. Keep an eye on the baking time to avoid over-baking.
