Sausage Egg Bake

A delightful dish combining savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and crispy hash browns, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Grease a baking dish and layer the hash browns across the bottom.
  5. Spread the cooked sausage over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage layer.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
