Savory TikTok Ramen

A quick and savory ramen dish perfect for busy days, featuring rich flavors from butter, soy sauce, and garlic.

  • 6 ounces Ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 large Egg
  • Thinly sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • Everything but the bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions (3-4 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of light brown sugar, and ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes, stirring and letting it bubble for 2 minutes.
  5. Push the noodles aside and crack 1 large egg into the skillet, scrambling it and cooking until fully done.
  6. Mix the noodles, sauce, and egg together thoroughly and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Serve garnished with thinly sliced green onions and optionally sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your choice of vegetables or proteins. This ramen is also great for meal prep; just store in an airtight container.
