Simple Lime Gelatin Salad

A bright and refreshing lime gelatin salad that’s perfect for gatherings, offering a delicious twist on traditional salads.

  • 6 ounces lime gelatin (Two 3-ounce packages)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 quart lime sherbet
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a pot.
  2. Remove from heat and dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, stirring well.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool for about 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in the lime sherbet until fully melted and combined.
  5. Fold in the thawed whipped topping gently.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a mold or serving dish.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  8. Serve as is or unmold onto a platter.

Notes

For a vibrant presentation, garnish with fresh lime slices or mint leaves. Pairs well with grilled meats.
