Strawberry Hibiscus Tea

A refreshing beverage combining floral notes of hibiscus with sweet strawberries, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (for serving)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat, add hibiscus flowers, and steep for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Strain into a pitcher using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  4. Add sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice; stir gently until sugar dissolves.
  5. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled (about 1 hour).
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
