Ultimate Fully Loaded Baked Potato Skins

A fun and crowd-pleasing snack featuring crispy potatoes, melty cheese, and rich bacon, perfect for parties or family dinners.

  • 4 medium Baked Potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Cheese (Sharp Cheddar, Pepper Jack, etc.)
  • 6 slices Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 stalks Green Onions (chopped finely)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then poke holes in each to allow steam to escape.
  3. Bake the potatoes for about 45–60 minutes until tender.
  4. Let the potatoes cool for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Slice each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides, leaving about 1/4 inch of flesh.
  6. Brush the insides and outsides of the potato skins with melted butter, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Fill the potato skins with cheese and crumbled bacon.
  8. Bake the filled skins for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with sour cream on the side.
