Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole

A creamy and cheesy casserole combining tender broccoli and cauliflower, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli and cauliflower for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Drain the vegetables and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Fold the blanched vegetables into the cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Customize with different cheeses or add more vegetables as desired.
