Easy Honey Butter Chicken

A simple and delicious dish that combines sweet honey and rich butter for a mouthwatering glaze, making juicy and flavorful chicken.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the seasoned chicken for about 7-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the unsalted butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Stir in honey and soy sauce into the skillet until combined and slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce and simmering for an additional minute.
  8. Serve warm, drizzling remaining sauce over the top.

Notes

For optimal tenderness, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts. You may also use thighs for added juiciness.
