Instructions

  1. Mix the Ingredients: In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt until well-mixed and smooth.
  2. Form the Dough: Gradually add water until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
  3. Shape the Cakes: Divide the dough into portions and shape them into round or flat cakes, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat the Oil: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the Cakes: Fry each cake for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain and Serve: Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
