Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or similar-sized casserole dish.
- Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate the rolls. Cut each roll into 4-6 pieces, depending on your preference for chunk size.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. If you'd like extra spice, sprinkle the optional cinnamon over the apple filling.
- Arrange the chopped cinnamon roll pieces evenly over the apple pie filling. If using optional nuts, sprinkle them over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon roll pieces are golden brown and cooked through. The apple filling should be bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with the included icing. For extra richness, you can brush the optional melted butter over the top before baking.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. The bake will thicken slightly as it cools.
Notes
Assemble the entire casserole the night before and refrigerate for easy morning baking. For different textures, adjust cinnamon roll chunk sizes - larger pieces for doughy bites, smaller pieces for more browned edges.
