Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add remaining butter to the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in onion powder and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter mixture. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook pasta, stirring occasionally, until al dente (about 10-12 minutes).
- Return the browned chicken to the skillet. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan. Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Use high-quality butter for best flavor, don't overcook garlic to avoid bitterness, adjust creaminess to preference, and try different pasta shapes like penne or rigatoni.
