Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare the chicken by patting it dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and dried oregano.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.

Notes

Use room temperature chicken for even cooking, don't overcrowd the skillet, let chicken rest 5 minutes before serving, perfect with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables
