Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Delicious and healthier plant-based alternative to traditional chicken wings with a spicy, tangy flavor.

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water or plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce
  • Cooking oil (for spraying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Gradually add the water or plant-based milk and stir until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
  4. Place the coated florets on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Lightly spray the coated florets with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Toss baked cauliflower in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Best served warm with dipping sauces. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
