2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 cup cold butter (2 sticks)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp apple pie spice
3 cups sliced apples (approximately 5–6 apples)
1 cup salted caramel sauce
Sea salt for sprinkling to taste
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Toss sliced apples with apple pie spice and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
Evenly distribute the apple filling over the pre-baked crust. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the apples.
Use the remaining crust mixture to crumble on top of the apples. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let cool for about 10 minutes, and drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top. Sprinkle with sea salt and cool completely.
Slice into bars and serve.
