Spooky Eyeball Olive Puffs

Delicious and fun spooky puffs made with flaky pastry, cheese, and olives, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry (Thawed for easy rolling)
  • 1 large Egg (Whisked for egg wash)
  • 24 pieces Pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 1 cup Finely shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet to about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into 2-inch squares.
  4. Place a small amount of finely shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Place a pimento-stuffed green olive on top of the cheese and gently press it to secure.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the olive to create a pouch, pinching the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the top of each pastry with the whisked egg.
  8. Place the puffs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with fun dipping sauces and decorate with Halloween-themed decor for an extra festive touch.
