Lean, protein-packed turkey meatballs that are simple to prepare and versatile for various meals.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (optional, for baking or serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve with warm marinara sauce, if desired.

Notes

For extra moisture, consider adding a splash of milk or olive oil. Adjust seasonings to taste.
